We are seeking candidates for an experienced Patent Agent (not attorney) position, with 2 to 5 years patent preparation and prosecution experience.
The ideal candidate must have a PhD in Biology (e.g. molecular biology, biochemistry, virology, genetic cell biology) with experience in patent drafting, and in patent prosecution before the USPTO and elsewhere encompassing a variety of technologies in biotechnology and chemistry.
A PhD is required and must be eligible to work in the United States as a citizen or Green Card holder. Must have passed the USPTO bar examination.
All candidates must pass a pre-employment written test, provide a relevant writing sample and clear a background check.
