Experienced Trademark Paralegal

Conley Rose, P.C. is looking for a trademark paralegal with at least five years of recent and hands-on experience with U.S. and foreign trademark prosecution. The firm offers a family-friendly, inclusive, collegial, and flexible work environment

. The ideal candidate must have great organizational skills, good record keeping and documentation habits, excellent and courteous communication skills, be able to work collaboratively in our team-oriented environment and come into the firm’s office as needed for meetings as needed. The position will allow for flexibility to work remotely or to have a hybrid schedule, but space in either of our primary physical offices is also available if preferred. This position will work with attorneys, clients, docketing and other staff.  Essential duties and responsibilities include, but may not be limited to, the following. Other duties may be requested and/or assigned.

Manage domestic and foreign prosecution for a large portfolio including recordation of assignments, renewals, office actions, and new filings.

Prepare U.S. federal and state trademark registration application documents; draft trademark goods/services specifications.

Prepare, review, and oversee trademark filings to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) through issuance of trademark and TTAB process.

Prepare inquiries and responses to the USPTO.

Assist with trademark analysis including ability to review, investigate results, and summarize trademark full searches.

Draft letters to clients regarding trademark information.

Utilize on-line trademark databases and third-party search platforms to conduct trademark clearance searches.
