Patent Litigation Counsel Jobs description

A patent litigation counsel works closely with company’s litigation team, as well as various legal group members having substantive knowledge relevant to particular disputes. A patent litigation counsel is responsible for determining dispute resolution strategies, as well as developing the infrastructure required to prevent disputes from arising. A patent litigation counsel works with outside counsel to manage lawsuits that may evolve from these third party disputes. A patent litigation counsel effectively leads and manages projects and coordinates vendors; responds to case needs, assignments, and issues as they arise.
A patent litigation counsel requires minimum of two years experience as a paralegal managing case in large complex litigation. A patent litigation counsel must be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment. A patent litigation counsel must possess strong computer skills, proficiency and familiarity with electronic discovery and litigation databases. A patent litigation counsel must have a four-year college degree, strong academic record, excellent organizational, and communication skills.
