Job Summary:

Attorney will be responsible for providing support to Intellectual Property Legal Team, focusing mainly on Trademarks, by performing various administrative duties and tasks.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

Draft documents and forms related to the field of Intelectual Property, as well as client communications and notifications.

Manage USPTO and PRTO Trademark filling systems.

Assist with docketing duties (Experience using FlexTrac® CTS preferred).

Coordinate events, meetings and conferences.

Generate time and expense slips (Experience using Sage Timeslips preferred).

Perform legal research and prepare internal client communications.


Juris Doctor degree and be licensed to practice law in Puerto Rico.

Strong written and oral communication skills in both Spanish and English.

Strong computer and internet research skills.

Ability to multitask and prioritize projects on competing deadlines.

Investigation skills using WestLaw or LexisNexis.

Previous experience working in Intellectual Property practice.
