Manage day-to-day logistics of global brick and mortar brand enforcement program, including identifying targets, collecting evidence, drafting cease and desist letters, and assisting with settlement negotiations.
Coordinate team of domestic and international private investigators and law firms engaged in the ongoing monitoring for counterfeits in the global marketplace.
Partner with law enforcement and customs officials in US and globally.
Conduct trainings for law enforcement and customs officials.
Responsible for tracking and reporting of all brick and mortar anti-counterfeiting actions, including maintenance of database and creation of power-point presentations, excel charts, and other documents for internal and external business partners.
Partner with Manager, Online Brand Protection and Intellectual Property to ensure cohesive and robust global anti-counterfeiting program.
Conduct trademark clearance and research on a variety of intellectual property issues.
Assist as needed on other IP-related matters, including global trademark, copyright and patent portfolio management, design clearance, rights of publicity and advertising matters, and intellectual property-related litigation.
Assist with global IP budget.
EDUCATION & PRIOR EXPERIENCE NEEDED
Experience working in-house or for clients with significant anti-counterfeiting issues strongly preferred.
Experience in general IP matters and trademark clearance preferred.
Maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
Strong communication skills and critical thinking, excellent research skills, great attention to detail, self-motivated, desire and ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
Domestic (and potentially international) travel required (up to 10%).
