Winston & Strawn is looking for a mid-level associate to join the intellectual property transactions team in its Chicago, Los Angeles, New York or San Francisco office. The ideal candidate will have experience advising on the intellectual property and technology aspects of merger and acquisition, joint venture, financing, and other strategic transactions. Substantial experience in buy-side and sell-side corporate transactions, including conducting due diligence investigations and drafting and negotiating license and technology agreements and commercial contracts is required. The position may involve counselling clients in connection with intellectual property rights, so a well-rounded foundation in the primary areas of intellectual property rights is required. All candidates must have excellent academic credentials as well as strong organization, analytical, writing, and verbal skills. All candidates should be admitted to the California, New York or Illinois Bar.
