Study technology and learn about the invention. Attend invention disclosure meetings with the clients, where the clients will present information on inventions for which they want to pursue a patent. Review and study the technical analysis of complex scientific topics within a particular patent application. Communicate directly with the client under direct supervision of an attorney. Work with the attorney to draft a patent application to be filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) that covers the client's invention. Develop and recommend strategies for prosecuting the patent that will be reviewed by the attorney. Use technical analysis to reply to the USPTO to rebut a rejection to grant a patent issued by the USPTO.
Proficiency in English & Chinese
Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or foreign equivalent
