NBCUniversal is seeking an Intellectual Property Clearance Analyst to support the Brands and Content, Intellectual Property team with the global clearance process. Proficiency with trademark or general intellectual property practice is preferred.
Responsible for domestic and international legal trademark and title clearance for films, television series, theme parks, and consumer products as well as related areas such as marketing, promotional, editorial, direct-to-video, web series, live stage, location based entertainment, theme parks attractions, publishing, titles and social media content across all NBCUniversal businesses
In-depth legal analysis of clearance issues as they arise
Extensive research on trademarks, copyright, titles, fictitious characters and locations, artwork designs and more
Indexing, tracking and record keeping of each production's submitted materials
Assist with review of full clearance reports
Manage the clearance process among paralegal team members
Bachelor’s Degree with at least 2 years of experience in a trademark practice at a law firm or in-house legal group
Strong computer skills, including proven experience with Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
