Our client, an innovative IP boutique in Dallas, Texas, has an immediate need for a Patent prosecution associate with at least 3-5 years of solid patent drafting experience. You will have a mechanical, electrical, computer science or other relevant background and be registered to practice before the USPTO. The associate will draft patent applications, Responses to Office Actions and related prosecution documentation, and assist the partners with client counseling and strategic patent portfolio management. The ideal candidate will have patent drafting experience across multiple different technologies. This is an excellent, ground-floor opportunity for an attorney who is ready to contribute and grow professionally by providing responsive, high-quality service to their expanding top-tier client base. Candidates should have a strong academic record from a nationally respected law school and an equally impressive undergraduate degree, as well as prior law-firm experience and excellent references.
