Based at Arkemas Corporate Offices and R and D Center in King of Prussia, PA, the Senior Executive Assistant focuses on the delivery of high:quality, cost:effective legal administrative support services to the Intellectual Property Attorneys, Intellectual Property Paralegals, and other Attorneys and projects as assigned. The position requires knowledge of legal and intellectual property procedures, processes and terminology.
Specific job activities include (but are not limited to):
: General administrative support: word:processing, proofreading and filing; preparation of reports and presentation materials; drafting routine correspondence; telephone coverage; record and file maintenance; travel and meeting planning; and expense account management.
: Intellectual Property support includes preparing responses to foreign patent agents, proofreading and filing of technical documents and forms for patent filing and prosecution; searching for patents, patent forms and filing instructions via the internet; docket and calendar coordination; coordinate and collaborate with counterparts in Arkema France.
: Assist other Law Department members with assignments, as needed.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
: High School diploma required.
: Minimum of 7 years of legal or executive administrative support experience.
: Previous experience with filing patents is highly preferred.
: Strong organizational, communication, and problem:solving skills.
: Excellent grammar and spelling; accurate typing and proofreading; proven PC skills.
: Ability to act with discretion in handling confidential information.
: Professional image and accountability required.
