The IP Docket Coordinator/Paralegal provides supervision of our patent docketing system and ideally can provide patent prosecution support. This position is located in either our New York or New Haven office. This position performs daily case management and other related tasks assigned by attorneys. Some of the functions of this position are to provide Patent prosecution support, including electronic filing of US applications/responses, foreign applications and responses; manage foreign patent annuities, renewal fees and US maintenance fees; help prepare Information Disclosure Statements; daily maintenance/operation of docketing system including the docketing of all prosecution and due dates for all patents, annuities and trademarks; and ensure all deadlines are timely met.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree or commensurate experience in the IP field. Knowledge of patent procedural requirements and USPTO practices are a must, and strong technology skills including knowledge of CPI software and MS Office Suite are required.
The target base pay range for this role is $65K-$90K and is dependent on experience and other relevant factors, including geography.
