Attorney - Data Privacy

Profile

Knobbe Martens is looking to add an attorney to our Data Privacy and Security team. Our team is dedicated to helping clients achieve and maintain compliance with federal, state, and international data protection and security laws. Candidates with 4 years of legal experience in a data privacy role, US JD and CIPP/US certification, experience with privacy and data security laws on a federal and state level as well as experience with data privacy, incident response, data breach laws, forensic investigations, cybersecurity, cyber preparedness, privacy policy drafting, global privacy, and data management policy issues, trends and initiatives. Knowledge of the European Union and Asia's laws on data privacy is preferred. Medical device experience is a plus. Strong academic credentials, as well as superior written and verbal communication skills required. Intellectual property experience and/or interest in intellectual property law is desirable.
