City Tech is seeking candidates for Adjunct Lecturer and Adjunct Assistant Professors for the upcoming semester, to perform teaching and related duties in our School of Professional Studies. The vacancies are in the following Academic Departments:
Hospitality Management – To teach Hospitality Accounting and Finance; Professional Alliances (networking); Facilities Management; Tourism; Hotel Lodging Operations; Hospitality Marketing; and Culinary and Pastry Arts. Applicants should have industry experience. Master’s degree is required, except for Culinary and Pastry Arts.
Law and Paralegal Studies – An attorney to teach Trademarks, Copyright and Patent Class. Must be admitted to the Patent Bar.
For Adjunct Assistant Professor:
Ph.D. degree in area(s) of experience or equivalent. Also required is the ability to teach successfully.
For Adjunct Lecturer:
Bachelor's degree in area(s) of expertise, and the ability to teach successfully.
CUNY offers adjunct faculty a compensation and benefits package covering health insurance, pension and retirement benefits for eligible adjuncts based on certain criteria which includes number of consecutive semesters (excluding winter and summer sessions) taught as well as number of teaching hours assigned for each semester.
