Our client is a premier international law firm with an immediate need for a talented intellectual property attorney for the firm's Houston office. This is a staff attorney position (non-partnership track) but the compensation and work opportunities are extremely compelling. The winning candidate will have 3 years of law firm experience (no more than 7 years) and an engineering degree, most preferably chemical or petroleum engineering. All candidates must also be registered patent attorneys who enjoy a wide range of IP legal work, including trademark prosecution, patent prosecution, IP transactions, and IP litigation support. Compensation for this position will be tied to hours billed, but estimates are rich (over 150K per year). Also, since the position is non-partnership track, fewer billable hours are expected.
