Job Description
Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world’s leading global law firms with almost 4000 lawyers and staff in 30 offices is seeking a PG Support Assistant - Intellectual Property. This position will reside in the Washington, DC office and will be responsible for performing a variety of duties related to the performance of account reconciliation and vendor invoices for the Patent Support Unit and Trademark Support Unit. The work involves reconciling and maintaining deposit accounts (USPTO – Patent and Trademark, Copyright and WIPO), obtaining money orders, and processing foreign vendor invoices. \r\rResponsibilities: \r\r• Reconcile deposit accounts (Patent – daily, Trademark – twice a week, Copyright – once a month and WIPO – as needed). \r• Confirm client-matter numbers through CPI and other resources, process accounts in ChromeRiver, coordinate with Firm Accounts Payable for check processing to maintain the accounts, and prepare weekly and monthly logs of processed and outstanding amounts.\r• Process money order requests, including travel to the post office.\r• Process vendor invoices through Chrome River utilizing accurate client/matter numbers. Route invoices to each paralegal and attorney that worked on the matter and resolve any issues.\r• Perform annual vendor audit for foreign accounts.\r• Provide copies of invoices as requested by billing assistants and certain clients.\r• Liaise with Patent Support Unit and Trademark Support Unit regarding the above.\r• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
Experience/Qualifications:\r\r• High school diploma and a minimum 2 years of accounts payable, billing or finance experience, or, equivalent combination of education and experience.\r• Ability to read and interpret general business documents, instructions and manuals. Ability to write simple correspondence.
