Patent Agent (Chemistry PhD) Need for Northern California - our law firm client, a prestigious, national law firm, wants to hire a Chemistry PhD Patent Agent to its No. CA office in Silicon Valley. Ideal candidates will have a PhD in Chemistry or other related technical field; 1-8 years experience (with a minimum of 2 years in a law firm); and be USPTO admitted. There is support at this firm for candidates interested in attending law school. Top of market compensation, full relocation packages and sign-on bonuses are available. This opportunity offers primarily domestic prosecution (and some consultation with the IP LIT and M&A teams) with little to no rate and fee restricted work or FTO work - their clients want top quality work product and dont care how many hours it takes - as a bonus the billable target is fantastic with this group.
