Established intellectual property boutique in Dallas has an opening for a patent attorney. Firm is based in Dallas and boasts an impressive full service, global intellectual property practice including patent portfolio management, patent preparation and prosecution, licensing, and patent litigation. Firm offices are conveniently located in North Dallas.
This role will focus on patent prosecution and other proceedings before the USPTO, preparing patent applications, advising clients regarding patent proceedings and licensing activities, and conducting legal research and writing regarding these issues. Client base includes domestic and international clients and will involve working with foreign counsel and advising on international issues.
Qualified candidates for this role will have:
Current licensure and membership in good standing before any State bar;
Licensure with USPTO;
Undergraduate degree in electrical engineering, telecommunications, or computer science/computer engineering;
Two to five years of patent law experience.
